Over the weekend, Texas In July played for the last time at Planet Trog on an off-date from their current tour with Gideon, Kublai Khan, and Silent Planet.
If you recall, over a month ago, the band announced that they were calling it quits. When asked about the reason for the breakup, guitarist Chris Davis noted ‘several show cancelations, tour cancelations, losing a 2nd guitarist and Adam’s declining health conditions all back-to-back seemed like it was a sign to throw in the towel.’
After wrapping up this current run, they will be heading to Europe followed by a farewell U.S. Headline tour to bookend the band’s prestigious 8yr run.
