The Chariot have announced that they are calling it quits. The band made the announcement earlier today via Facebook and Instagram which linked to a YouTube clip titled “All’s Well That Ends Well“. Along with the clip the group offered the following:
“Thank you. To everyone on this planet Earth that has ever supported us, helped us, watched us, hung out with us, given us a place to stay, given food, prayed over us, loaned us equipment, advised us, booked us, or given us a chance, no matter how big or small…we are forever grateful.”
The band will embark on their farewell tour which is set to span October 10th through November 16th with Glass Cloud, Rebuker, Birds In Row and To The Wind.
The band released their fifth and final studio album One Wing, last August. Last June, longtime bassist Jon (KC Wolf) Kindler left the band to return to college. The band opted not to replace Kindler and performed on this year’s Warped Tour as a four-piece.
