Reliable fixtures of Warped Tour (and now, elder statesmen), Silverstein have a way of fitting in no matter what the musical climate.

Their set this tour was different and special because they combined their time with Beartooth and formed a configuration known as ‘Silvertooth‘. This involved the bands taking turns playing and, eventually, swapping members.

It all culminated in a final song, the Ramones’ “Blitzkrieg Bop” performed with 2 singers, 4 guitars, 2 bass and 2 drummers. Good luck finding a version of the song that sounds mightier.

Before their set, we spoke to bass player Billy Hamilton about the odd recording of ‘I Am Alive In Everything I Touch’, why The Lawrence Arms are so good, how ‘Silvertooth’ came about, vinyl, and music videos (among other things).
