A few years prior, I was scheduled to speak to Mike Herrera when the MxPx All Stars tour came to Allentown’s Crocodile Rock Cafe.  The problem was, a huge snowstorm prevented the show from happening and I was left out in the cold, so to speak.

Cut to about 2 ½ years later at Warped Tour.

After having the pleasure of seeing Mr. Herrera performing a solo set at the acoustic tent, I was lucky enough to sit down with him and ask many of the questions I had previously intended to ask.  Fortunately, there have been some other new developments in the world of MxPx, including an acoustic collection being released along with a disc full of demos.  We also got into a few other details such as the current touring lineup of MxPx, recording and Mike’s podcast.

It was nice to be able to get closure on a previously lost chance at conducting an interview and an all around pleasure to talk to the mastermind of a band I have been a huge fan of for quite some time.
